Infinity War is WILDLY entertaining. To expound, the film takes on the tone of whatever characters occupy the forefront of a particular scene. The Guardians scenes take on the irreverent, free-form of their own peculiar logic and banter. The Captain America scenes are serious, with his music leading the way. The Doctor Strange scenes are stoic mysticism. The Iron Man and Spider Man scenes (like Batman and Robin) are half funny teen and exasperated genius. The Avengers scenes take on elements of all of these. This was a difficult brew, they masterfully executed it.
